Introducing the Atlantic Innovative Education Summit

Discover how the AIE Summit brings Atlantic educators together to advance STEM, AI, and digital innovation through two days of learning, leadership, and regional collaboration.

Empowering Atlantic Educational Leaders Through STEM, AI, and Innovation

Atlantic Canada is entering a new era of innovation in education, and Logics Academy is proud to be part of the movement. This May, educational leaders, teachers, and partners from across the region will come together for the first Annual Atlantic Innovative Education (AIE) Summit, a two‑day in‑person gathering dedicated to advancing STEM, AI, and purposeful technology integration in K–12 learning.

Hosted in Moncton, NB, the summit is designed to spark meaningful conversations, deepen professional learning, and build a strong regional network committed to preparing students for a rapidly changing world.

Why the AIE Summit Matters

Across classrooms, libraries, and school districts, the landscape of education is shifting. Artificial intelligence, robotics, and emerging technologies are transforming how students learn, and how educators teach. But with this shift comes important questions:

  • How do we implement AI responsibly?

  • What does future-ready teaching look like in an Atlantic Canadian context?

  • How do we build sustainable, collaborative systems that support educators long after a workshop or training session ends?

The AIE Summit was created to help answer these questions. The event’s purpose is simple yet ambitious:

  • Empower educational leaders and educators through STEM, AI, and innovation—together.

  • The summit emphasizes regional collaboration, practical strategies, real classroom applications, and continuous learning supported by a vibrant online community.

A Summit Built by Atlantic Canada, for Atlantic Canada

One of the AIE Summit’s strengths is its collaborative design. The event is guided by a steering committee of education leaders from all four Atlantic provinces:

New Brunswick: Sarah Rankin, Jordan Smith, Brenda Cameron

Nova Scotia: Nick Baskwill, Chris Cocek, Laura Kennedy

PEI: Sam Livingstone

Newfoundland & Labrador: Tony Hillier, John Goldsworthy

Their leadership ensures the content, priorities, and conversations reflect the region’s shared values, and its diversity.

Access a Growing Online Community

Learning doesn’t end when the summit wraps up.

All attendees gain access to an online professional learning community, designed to extend conversations, share resources, and support collaboration long after the event. This digital space gives educators and leaders an ongoing place to connect, ask questions, and continue building innovative practices together.

Join Us in Building the Future of Education

The Atlantic Innovative Education Summit is more than an event—it's the start of a regional movement. By bringing together leaders, educators, and partners who are passionate about student success and innovation, we’re taking an important step toward a stronger, more connected future for Atlantic Canadian education.

We hope to see you in Moncton this May.
