Build an AI Game in Codingville - Design, Code, and Play with Intelligence
In this hands-on Codingville workshop, Grade 7–9 students step into the role of game designers and AI creators. Using computational thinking, creativity, and design, students build an interactive game enhanced with AI-driven decision-making. Through guided challenges, learners apply problem-solving and scientific inquiry to plan algorithms, test outcomes, and refine their game mechanics. Codingville’s AI features provide real-time feedback and adaptive support as students debug, iterate, and improve their designs. Aligned with Alberta’s Computer Science curriculum, this workshop empowers students to think critically, code creatively, and understand how AI can be used responsibly to solve complex problems through game-based learning.
